There's a love of mountains woven into my blood. For as long as I can remember, I've dreamt of a little house nestled amongst them — a vision shaped by childhood and the happiest moments spent on our family's farm in the Cederberg. The morning sun stretching out over the burnt orange berg marked the best part of every day.
Little House and The Berg — berg meaning mountain in Afrikaans — is a nostalgic look both backward and forward. Capturing that lasting sense of connection to mountain and home. The house is small by design. The mountain is not. I loved the meditative quality that came through each line, and the way the composition's quiet simplicity holds space for both memory and longing simultaneously.
For anyone who has ever felt small beside something enormous and beautiful — and grateful for it.

Framing note: Standard frame sizes align with these dimensions. We recommend a white or natural linen mount in a frame 10–15cm larger than the print — this gives the work room to breathe and is how gallery pieces are typically displayed.
Not sure which size? A3 works well on a desk or shelf. A2 is the most popular for bedroom walls. A1 and A0 are statement pieces for living rooms, hallways, or spaces where the work needs presence from across the room.
